Horizon Wind Energy Services Pty Ltd operates in the Australian wind energy sector and takes its regulatory, security, and workplace obligations seriously. We maintain policies and procedures designed to meet the requirements of our customers, our industry, and applicable Australian law.
Regulatory Framework
Horizon's operations are conducted in accordance with applicable Australian law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Consumer Law, the Fair Work Act 2009, work health and safety legislation, and the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (Cth) to the extent applicable through our customer engagements. Where industry frameworks apply, such as the Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework, we align our practices accordingly.
Information Security
Customer information is held in secure facilities located in Australia. We apply industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Access to customer information is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
Insurance
Horizon maintains current insurance cover appropriate to our services, including public liability, professional indemnity, and workers compensation as required by law. Certificates of currency are available to customers on request.
Personnel
Personnel performing services for our customers undergo background and right-to-work verification consistent with industry practice. All personnel are subject to ongoing training in compliance, safety, and information handling.
Incident Handling
If an incident occurs that may affect customer information or service delivery, we respond in accordance with our internal incident response procedures and applicable contractual and legal notification obligations.
